Oddly enough I didn't take a 'whole army' on display picture. Rather surprised by that, something else I'll have to up date when I find the time.
Again all Heroics and Ros. All flags are hand painted.
Five Regiments of French Infantry. Beauvoisis, Dauphin, Piedmont, Royal Artillerie, and Royal Montbazon.
Another view and a close up.
Four Regiments of Swiss Infantry. Castellas, Diesbach, Planta and Waldner.
Four German Infantry Regiments: Alsace, Anhalt, Royal Bavarie, and Royal Seudois.
Volontaries d'Alsace, a French light infantry regiment.
Two Grenadier Battalions with Piedmont Regiment attached, the "Elite Brigade" of the army.
Marshal Victor, the Duc de Broglie and Prince de Lorraine. That's the Broglie family crest I painted on the standard (at least I'm pretty sure it is).
French Artillery
French Light Cavalry. Two Regiments of Dragoons and one of Hussars. I know the French Dragons were wearing hats and instead of the caps. But painting them up as the War of Spanish Succession version gives the army a little more variety and style.
95% of the French cavalry in my army is two small regiments banded together (again based on the AoR rules). But the Apchon Dragoons regiment here is larger, a full regiment on its own. The other dragoon unit is Du Roy and La Frenonaye Dragoons. The hussars are Bercheny and Royal Nassau.
Close ups.
French Line Cavalry and a 6 stand Gendarme unit.

This is an account of my painting process of 6mm Napoleonics, Seven Years, ACW, ECW, Ancients, and Epic 40k. I have no set goal of any battle or campaign. I do enjoy painting but can no longer do the 4-6 hours marathons of my youth. So it's a place to show the work I've done and get any feedback. Steve

Eldar Dreadnought
And old (circa 1990) metal Eldar Dreadnought for Warhammer 40k. Painting and repainting as we've been getting back into 40k the past few months.
Seven Years War Prussian
These Prussians were painted for my friend as the starting point for our grand 18th Century project. Hoping to do the "Sport of Kings" campaign from the Warfare in the Age of Reason rules.
All figures are Heroics and Ros, my 6mm (true 6mm!) favorites. I know Baccus and Adler are all the rage these days, but when playing 6mm you will NEVER notice the more detailed the lightly larger / robust figures have over H&R. Plus I still think Baccus cavalry way oversized the rider and headgear compared to the relative size of the horse (they're big animals).
All flags are hand painted.
The whole army so far, the is more to come for the Prussians.
Remember you can click on all pictures for larger view.
Prussian Hussars
Zeithen's 2nd Hussars. I know that Frederick order the Hussars to return their standards in 1743, but it does add a little extra flavor to the unit. Plus the AoR reason rules allow the chance for the enemy to capture standards in a successful melee.

Prussian Cuirassier. The 8th, 10th, and 11th Regiments.
Prussian Dragoons. I've forgotten which regiments. I update the post once I find out.
Some Prussian Artillery.
Some Prussian Grenadier Battalions and the 6th Garde Regiment.
Close up of some grenadiers.
Five Fusilier Regiments. Prince Heinrich, Munchow, Kursell, Kreyten, and Wurttemburg Regiments. I always try to pick and paint the regiments that fought in numerous battles.
Close up of Wurttemburg and Munchow Regiments.
Five Musketeer Regiments. Braunschweig, Dohna, Forcade, Kalckstein, and a mystery one
because I forgot to write it down in my painting records, so again I'll have to check next time we play.
Close up view.
So late...
Very, very...VERY belated update. So the next several posts show most of the work I did in the past year and half, sadly its nowhere near as much as I would have like. But I'm feeling really inspired these days as we've been gaming more and more so hopefully my production level will increase dramatically.

2013...
Ok name change to Blog, due to a viral-like spreading interests. I feel bad for lack of updates in 2012. Ended the year painting just over 3,000 6mm figures...not bad..not close to my goal. This year I've set a impressive and serious target of 10,000 figures. So fingers crossed...I'll try to get some photos up soon.

April's Painting
So, didn't paint as much as I had hoped, but did paint more than February and March together. So I guess that's something. Also my attention has been all over the place, Regimental Fire & Fury (painted a few stands of old Airfix 1/72), Carthaginian DBM, Franco-Prussian war has my attention (lucky for me I don't own any of that). Here is this months work.
Imperial Guard Lancers, Dutch, Polish and Berg
The Dutch 'Red' Lancers. May have made a mistake on the pennants, some internet pictures have them white over red. Yet the paintings by Patrice Courcelle (might by Jack Girbal not 100% sure) in the Soldier and Uniforms of Napoleonic War by Historie & Collections, which I based the Dutch on, shows red over white.
Polish Lancers
Berg Lancers. I freely admit the uniform is inaccurate. They had abandoned the white and pink for the green uniforms when they were equipped with lancers. BUT...they look SO much cooler as white and pink. So a little artistic freedom taken to brighten up the battlefield.
2nd Carabinier
4th Lancers
French Corp and Division commander. Corp commander is based on General Montbrun in 1812.
French Young Guard Tirailleurs
Wrede's Brigade of Bavarians at Hohenliden. Bavarian flags are a pain in the ass to paint (and I loathe the oversized ones you can buy). Close up they don't look good...but at a distance it gives a good impression of the checkboard white and blue diamonds.
Close up of Bavarian Line Chasseurs and Independent Light Battalion.
Austrian Lancers
Russian Hussar Brigade, six stands of the Pavlograd Hussars and two of the Marioupol Hussars.
Russian Foot Artillery
Prussian 1st Leib Hussars...(I think)..forget where I placed their notes and they aren't labelled yet.
Ulm's Brigade at Marengo, IR 17 Hohenlohe and IR 18 Stuart
Some Prussian Seven Years War, to be used for my 1806 Prussian battles. Haven't painted the standard yet, they were ordered to return them in 1743 and haven't found any info on them yet.
The unit is the 4th Hussars, Puttkamer, Regiment nicknamed the Bahlammer (The screaming lambs) and later the die Wolfe im Schafspelz (The wolves in sheep's clothing). I guess the baby blue and white uniforms gave their enemies a false impression of their fighting skill.
